Re: t0wn?
Try analyzing :
1. HPMcore is in developpement
2. Some things will be changed about /town
3. Those changes need to be tested, but maybe unstable/allow unusual things to happen
4. How do you stop that? Remove permissions, but then mayors can't modify their towns.
5. But then how do you test it without mayors being able to use it? Simple, temporarily change THEIR command and use /town for testing purposes.
But now you ask yourself : "Why don't they use /t0wn for testing and leave towns normal?"
Well, when you code, you have to decide what the command will be, if they make it /t0wn for testing, then when they release it officially, they have to change it all back, more work + if they miss a few things it could mess things up, so what do they do? Remove all permissions related to /town, so only admins can use it, copy all the code, paste it and assign a new command to it, using /t0wn. So any changes made to /town will not affect town management. The coders are now free to test their new commands using /town without mayors being able to.
This is NOT necessarily the reason behind but I decided to think about it a bit and this is the most likely theory that came to mind, so I may be completely wrong, close, or have it right, you decide, but I thought that this provides reasonable information and details that could clear things up a bit.
