Tekkit Server Upgrades! (and why I've been gone...)

It was a quiet peaceful morning. Too quiet. I relize my computer is not on. I press the on button the fan starts and then the PC dies. MANY DIAGNOSTICS LATER. Tada the crappy stock gateway MOBO is dead...

I have ordered two news parts for the server:

Also future upgrades (around may) will include:

A better graphics card

12 GB more ram (for total max of 24GB)

I would have gone with Intel SSDs as I've seen better results with Minecraft with them over Samsung.

oh and drake, you better extensivly test your protection plugins. Like, your spawn got wreacked by the portal gun, and I doubt you could prevent a mining turtle from destroying it either, unless you made your own plugin. So I suggest perhaps not making a spawn, or at the very least not making a huge ammount of diamond blocks underneath it...
