I've seen a lot of people struggle becoming a member, I do like the current system but I think it is quite hard. New people come on daily but for a new Member it takes days or even weeks!! Some people actually want to become a member but they can't as they don't know how our system works. My idea was: Instead of letting people make a post, let them do all the stuff by registering on the site.

So when someone wants to be a member, he just does /iwanttobeamember and then get's a link to the site, where he has to register. They click on the register button and all the usual stuff appears but together with that there could be a whole application form for Member, which may or may not be filled in to become a Member. I am pretty sure that this will make more people member. This will also be a fix of the lack of Residents in towns: not enough members + a lot of towns --> a lot of dead/inactive towns. Maxstenville in example hasn't had a new Member in months! This should change!

I hope this was a good idea and that this gets implemented so we can have more happy members!

Its not supposed to be easy

If a player gets a membership in 5 minutes, they will leave the server as quick as they joined.
They will ask for stuff like locking chests or how to get to the website..

If a players knows about this board and how to make an account and write a post, they will
take their time and maybe browse to some topics where some answers are waiting.
Same for reaching the members when they are offline. Its easier with this board.
Also they can post on town topics or do a promotion post.. They need to have an account.

There are always noobs who don't understand what we explain them. And there are smart grievers (not very much indeed), but some grievers make a perfect app and become a member. Maybe we could make a test parkour to see if they will grief?

That would not help at all. A social engineering approach can not be prevented in any way. The current system works as intended.
