Well I searched around and really couldn't find a free one, if you haven't already you'll have to jailbreak iPod, iPhone.

I found out a good one is Colloguy which costs £1.19.

Or it's free with a jailbreak .

Coolguy is pretty good but the best irc app is 'LimeChat'
Costs a bit more idk.
Its not that useful for you but for me...(hp bnc)

You will need an application in cydia called installous.

I could tell you how to get it and how to add repositories but I found a video that tells you how.

Installous = a free application store basically.
