I think it would be very wise to make such mods to work with spoutcraft so ppl doesnt need to download them
but for mods you need two things:
1) ideas
2)someone who will make it

Mabye its time to find our own mod developer, i myself actually have no clue how to code minecraft but i could try.

Spoutcraft looks promising, but we need heinz's opinions on that.

I can definatly put together a installer for spoutcraft making it an easy 123 to get all the mods installed with spoutcraft.

Yet again if this was to happen we would need to make it optional for play.

Heinz is already busy at it making plugins for the server himself.
And do you even know what SpoutCraft is? It doesn' need a custom installer.

Yes but spoutcraft needs a installer to intall mods into spoutcraft....

spoutcraft allows to download mods automatically from server, it doesnt need anything else than spoutcraft and spoutcraft plugin running on server, which we are. Currently you can play on server with spout but you will not notice any changes (we were using spitems in past). So feel free to make plugin/mod for spoutcraft if its working i bet heinz will allow it becase we already use spout.
Oh and our main plugin developer is...HeinzPeter. but he is realising his own ideas for now and i dont think he will have time for anything useless...i mean... not necessary. But i am not sure about this one.

It would be quite awsome if we had a mod that could customize the music played within zones, say you entered hp-empire you would get bird tweets and some music, or sky town where youd get a soft wind blow and dreamy music.

Im more of a music developer and artist than modder so if anyone wants me to make stuff for there mods like GUI's .etc ill be happy to assist.

I don't want custom clients like 'MaxMod' in here again.
Spoutcraft is a good choice of customized clients,
and you could code your own plugins.
