I love the Heinzpeterlympics

Id be happy to build it as im very good with redstone.

Different events for different towns will not be as fun... It should be something for all WORLD MEMBERS to participate in. Some examples that come to my mind...

1. Archery Challenge
2. SPLEEF WAR
3. Obstacle courses (XD)
4. Mining Challenge
5. Building Challenge
6. Traditional PVP

If you have any more you may add on... Archery Challenge can be unique instead of the usual 50 meter course.
SPLEEF IS A MUST! Obstacle courses can include mazes, jumping puzzles and maybe even riddles if possible. Mining already said...
Maybe like a score system where coal = 1 point iron = 10 points gold = 40 points
diamond = 150 points stack of redstone for 50 points... <-- example only

As for building... it could be like participants have like a day (everyone lives everywhere in the world) to plan and build anything with a given amount of materials (no using of own materials) . In the end heinz would probably judge based on creativity and uniqueness etc.
As for the pvp........ nuf said just use the TH-Arena or something for it.

Minecraft is getting boring for some if not most people that played earlier than you davon. Still i think the competitions will be awesome.

I would love to get help from everyone.

Ahh cool. We should probably just put our thoughts all together on this topic and in the end vote for the best few event choices. Perhaps they can take place in around early-mid December. But it does not have to be all about the olympics etc we should be more creative and think about different ideas! (my mind fails me now though) Maybe after all the planning is done we can start a topic for people to apply which competition they would like to join. (first come first server basis) About the building team im kinda lazy... XD Where should everything be built though? Free build is only for trusted members and above...
