That's a matter of opinion Davon. The server is actually a survival RPG. This is essentially bringing back the RPG that has been lacking, back to the server.

Now you are seeing this through the eyes of a mayor, and you are saying this could steal residents. Now, that is the resident's choice. The reason I am suggesting this is for people's enjoyment, so if they leave your town, or anybody else's for that matter, it's because they personally believe they will have a better time in this nation, and that should be considered a good thing, because it gives new things to do and kills boredom, and that's my ultimate mission, to make minecraft amusing again.

Now, according to wpariler's idea, if there could be another world players could maybe live in both, being a member of two nations, but that'd be hard on the server hardware. Now see this from an admin's standpoint :

-It'd bring new people to the server
-Could make existing people happier
-Could bring in new potential donators = Money towards hardware = possibly more slots
-Could kill boredom for quite a while (once a town gets fully established, there's nothing to do anymore, I'm trying to make a way around that -> PvP, possibly wars)

And ultimately, if people don't like the idea, they just don't have to move here, I don't see what's complicated about that...

Now a few of you are saying "well the server will lose it's original reputation and be known as a Hunger Games server, there are others, blah blah" Well actually, the aren't! I looked, you've got servers making Hunger Games arenas and stuff, but no Hunger Games roleplays, possibly because the existing servers are just as hesitant as you guys are about making one, so why not make it a first?

To Davon : So basically you are saying this is such a good idea you fear that everybody will abandon your town? Well that's one heck of an approval, even though you said you disapproved....

If my post seems hostile I apologize. I think it is a good idea but there are many other stuff to consider as well... I wouldn't want to get too involved in this in the first place as I am busy irl but it is getting to my attention... What will happen when the hunger games loses its popularity? Ah forget it I am tired gonna sleep LOL. -_____- I hope that regardless of heinz decision this would not drag on too long though. And honestly as a mayor it is natural to become like (idk sad or sth) when you see those people you pretty much trust to leave your town for mayorship. Don't mind that as people will do that eventually, but just saying. :/ May the odds be ever in your favor...

A nice idea! But it won't work if it is the Main world. This cause it will probably become a main Goal and the World and Server might change. This isn't a Hunger-games Server. You could better go to other Servers that are. But if aproved. Maybe take the number of towns down. I know this is breaking the book's lore but, the towns wont be filled good. Also it would be better if you would drop the Themes of the towns into a Main thing, I mean. Who would like to life in a Massive Tree-farm town, Or a Farming one? I would suggest making like 3-6 town wich are Main and not bound to a Theme. Or maybe bind more themes to one town. Also in the applications should be changed a bit. Why ask if they brought people to the Server. Isn't this a bit un-needded, This is also very un-needded. I mean would this really matter? Would you judge on this?

Edit:
Also a new World might not work. This could become the new Main-world cause everything and everyone active would be there. Also PvP and wars won't work. PvP isn't allowed on the Server, And I think it will be confusing to know if it happenend in the Main World, Guest-World or Panem.

I am not being rude. I just wish to help.

I understand, also, the reason i'm asking if you brought people to the server is to encourage people to do so. It's not a requirement, it's just to say, if we ever want this to happen we need more people on the server. As for the task-specific regions, it's just that those would be the District trades, from which they would base there economy, I was thinking of making a huge trading center in the capitol, and so the tree-farm nation would sell wood and buy everything else, but may as well produce their own stuff, just that task specific regions would generate large, or even massive, amounts of what they are asked to, whereas if a few Districts did several tasks the generated product wouldn't be in the same quantities. I expect the residents to be quite mobile, moving from one district to another, and that just adds a task, which in turn kills boredom, which is part of the whole plan.

Davon's response makes me feel bad for Nocti... I hope it doesn't bother him too much...

Because, even though i thought of it myself, that as a mayor it can be saddening to see your residents leave and Nocti just recently made me vice-mayor of glowford, something I am very proud of, and now i'm about to leave :/ (if this gets accepted of course)

Willyg2014 is
ACCEPTED

This means that if the nation becomes reality, i will only approve of Willyg2014's's town application for district 2.
If supplies are needed I will make sure to help as best as possible.
