So I have noticed for awhile already that the server is getting boring and not as active as it was before. I know it can be due to all the new things like 1.0 RC and so on but i noticed a lot of the older members are less commonly on the server. I myself am gets bored of the server once in awhile too... But anyway i feel that the server should have like more events and new stuff like maybe during weekends that would give away prizes and stuff like maybe a 'HP-MINECRAFT PVP 2011' or something. So to conclude this i feel that the server should have
new stuff and change for the better, so that we can keep its popularity up.

Feel free to prepare something and i will surely participate. And i dont really agree that server is getting inactive. This is just very common cycle, some ppl will come and some leave. But yeah lot of ppl is busy with school, but thats not too big problem (neither infinite)

Yep i know just that its getting to my attention... I would like to but still thinking what to do.

Id like to see:

-Hp Pvp as davon said in a massive arena

-Hp Miner competition (people mine and whoever gets the most or best materials wins)

-and some others which others can think of =)

Well mining is kinda based a lot on luck... There could be an event of the year or something that would probably be big enough to attract a lot of people back...

i think i could prepare miner competition for like 4 ppl to participate at once and it wouldnt be based on luck, it would be surely based on your skills!

That sounds like a good idea.
We could have zones with random stone/ore/(obsidian?) blocks.
Then slots for those zones with the same count of materials.
Finally a huge competition mining area for max. 4 players(?) - or 2on2 deathmatch!

What about a Heinzpeterlympics? Every town can join with several Competitions! ;O
