I use this texture pack a lot. 1.2 came out, and it wasn't ready, and there were some things I wasn't happy with, so I updated it....

Here is an image of the blocks I changed.... (made stone more natural so it doesn't look like cobble, edited the ores to fit, made glowstone more stone like [it was a lamp before] then added redstone lamps from the previous glowstone.)

Just so you know, I edited the light version. I will add the new mobs in a couple days. Just posting it in case you would like to use it.

I am happy with the default texture pack, but my son loves one with toothy endermen (Sphax')... So if your mobs will be toothy enough may be we will start to use your tp

Haha, I am actually working on my own from scratch right now. Maybe I will do it. Does your son like the painterly mobs? The creepers you can put in there are so funny. It makes them 1,000,000 times less scary.

The one I use pretty much depends on what I am doing. If I am on the server I usually use default so I see things the way most other people do. But when I am building epic stuff I use this one unless I want a more futuristic look.

Wish ya all the best with the texture pack. Will download this when it is done and use it for singleplayer! (maybe smp too but... :/)

one tip : its good if you try not to derive away from the default pack
