Hey guys

Just a random little thread, post below when you joined the server (can be found under user control panel) and post what you remembered most from back then.

So for me it would be:

Most remembered thing: Old spawn, where we had a combination lock and I spent half my time trying to figure out how to get out when all I had to do was flick 1 lever! I also remember the old StxVille and how I was going to claim it, but for some reason it never happened XD

As far as my memory goes, I remember being really confused because I had never played on SMP before. I met laserhog, joined indigo city and lived there for perhaps a week. Got to know CJValentine a little bit, met Stx, then he got banned not more than a month later. BTW glad to have you back Stx.
Left indigo for Iron city, but upon Noctifer's insistance, joined glowford instead. Lived happily for quite a bit, before getting banned myself. Ban appeal was a mess, but thanks to Noctifer's support I got back. After that, I sorta played normally, except MaxZ got me into the IRC, been there ever since. I eventually became Vice-Mayor of Glowford, and that lasted quite a while. Then there was Panem, a total flop ( I also managed to get quite a few people to dislike me with that, for some I'd even say hate). Donated not so long ago, and here I am. An omnipresent member of the community, sorta watching over, getting in trouble, helping if I can, contributing a bit (mostly on the board, dunno, I just love the board).

And here i am, typing this. That's my story on HPcraft. It's sorta stops there, since I left for Starcraft, another game (not another server :P). I may be back once I get over my craze. Or I might finally get to play battlefield 3. Haven't installed that since I got my new graphics card.

The board says Dec 15, 2010 but I actually joined the server like one or two months before that, the board didn't even exist back then lol (atleast I think so)

I somehow managed to jump out of the old spawn and then Cain27 showed up and took me to his village where he offered me to buy one of his houses, but I just built my own house right outside his village.
Later I convinced my brother to buy Minecraft aswell and we just started building our own town, it even had a mall and a metro system we built with cain and some other guys, but nobody is using those anymore

(Dodo, you mean Starcraft 2? I love Starcraft 2 <3)

Yes I'm pretty new compared to you guys... just four petty months
This is my first serious server, before i only played SP. The week before i joined HP i spent discovering multiplayer, and joined some random servers. I had no clue of commands etc, and it took me a few days and lots of servers before some nice guy told me to press T or / to start chatting xD I guess i got banned on quite a few servers because of my signgriefing, but well i didnt know how to chat xD
When i learned some more about playing online i started to search for a nice server to settle in. That server was HP, I think it was the fact HP has towns instead of clans was the main reason.
So well I spawned in the old spawn where i refused to live in one of the two guest worlds, because they looked like sh*t, even more then nowadays In the old guest spawn i met Drake, who told me to register on the board in order to become a member. Thats what I did, with my brother's account though, I was pretty afraid of viruses back then xD Thats why he joined one day prior to me.
So we were members now. The only person I knew was Drake, so Epicity was the obvious choice to live in.
I remember Davon and heng working on the mountain where now on of the biggest living quarters of the town is, and they gave us a plot and building materials. The house we built is ugly as hell and still exists, perhaps I should make a museum in it
We were the first residents to live in that part of town, except for Crix that is.
So we had a hometown, and started socializing as well as gathering resources. Epicity was getting a bit inactive, partly because our mayor left. Thats why me and Stefan -my bro I mentioned earlier and is the other half of "we" - decided to build our own town. Which was impossible as we soon discovered xD Instead we founded Weedville, a medieval village in MemberArea3. It was really fun and soon we got our first two people to join us Jameswildfire and a real life friend of mine joined us. It was really fun to play and build in that village. BTW its still active so tell me if you wanna make a house there
I think this is the time Aperture was started and I helped a bit there.

Then we went to France, leaving the server for two whole weeks We had a great time in France though, please dont think Im some kinda geek who spends all his time on mc I did that during the summer holiday though xD

When school started again I made something like a comeback to Epicity, though I have been a resident since the very first week of my time on HP. In this period my friends got back to town -rl I mean- so my mc time was reduced again. I terraformed and mined a lot during this time, but thats it Drake was made lord and Epicity flourished, I wished all those residents of that time would be back now
I had a great time with my brother, Drake, Zento and lots of other people who are or were active members. When we finished the transportsystem in MA3 i continued working on the environment in Epicity. A hell of a job.
Recently I'm mostly helping other people and busy mining. A few days before TMP 1.4 I was appointed vice-mayor by Drake, so I havent had the chance yet to use those new powers

Because I'm a member for little more than 4 months most of the old members who recently rejoined, like oozy wont know me. Same goes for a lot of the Americans Really, why is the world round, I hate these timezones. Fortunately mc hasnt got timezones xD

So lets go back to the VERY VERY beginning. It was fall 2011 and I was over at w123luke's house. He showed me an underwater fort in SP when I was there and I was like, "so wait this is basically virtual legos?" After that I kept researching into it and it looked really fun! On Christmas eve I finally convinced my mom to let me buy it (that's right I bought something on Christmas eve XD) after bugging her for weeks. I remember my dad freaking out because some weird company Mojang got our money XD. Anyway I didn't play it on Christmas but on Christmas Eve I started a vanilla server playing around and we like built simple houses. I remember I flew far away and got lost XD. So on the day after Christmas I was pretty much already bored and w123luke (at the time he was ah3333, he gave ah3333 to his bro who is dirty dirty dirty....) told me about HPCraft. I remember the old bedrock spawn and the sand desert right next to spawn. I remember taking forever to find the house. It was in a swamp biome. I remember building my room out of cobble and being so mad it was griefed. W123luke told me about membership and skytown so I signed up and got accepted on the first try. I joined skytown, built not the best looking house, tried to convert it to a pool house, failed, got kicked out of skytown. So here I am, homeless and things are not looking too good. I look on the board under settlers under Epicity. I signed up and was the 3rd person so we got skytown made. I remember davon showing me the spot. I first went around lighting the land up while davon made the wall (both the inner and the outer. We had a cobblestone generator that I remember using ALOT for the mall. Me and ztc both worked on the mall originally in cobblestone. Later after that I had to go and replace the cobble with stone alone . Anyway I remember Venom_Kidd being temp vice mayor since he asked for it. We didn't have an official vice mayor since nobody was trusted. Davon told me if I got trusted I could be the vice mayor . Anyways after that I became trusted and I was really happy with myself. MORE BUILDING PROJECTS LATER...... Davon left the server So it left me mayor of epicity. When I first became mayor I remember tearing down a huge mountain. 10 people were working on it and it was just amazing teamwork. Then I became lord and I have banned about 3 idiots (mostly advertising). My story is yet to grow

My story:

I can remember my first day at HP very good, i spawned at the CS (old spawn) and there were 2 people walking there and they were very nice to me . Mvd came online a few minutes later and we joined Epicity . We started making our house there and everybody was very nice to me (and mvd). When the house was done we started getting stuff like wood cobble and animals to farm. (We still have a big farm in our basement.) I can remember when exactly, but we helped Drake and Davon with taking down a huge mountain. After that Epicity became more active . I cant remember when (again), but me and mvd started making a village at member area 3, called WeedVille We cut down a part of a forest there for wood and place to build. We used the wood of the trees to make the houses. Now my best friends life in member area 3/WeedVille. I made quickly much friends, examples: mvdhauten (my bro), benwildfire123, jameswildfire123, Drakee510 and some more. (If your name isn't on the list there is still a possibility you're my friend, these are just examples.)

Anyway, i am very happy here , and i'll do my best to make other people be happy here too!
