Enderman Farm Renovations

Hi everyone,

I've noticed that the Enderman Farm isn't as efficient as it could be so i have decided to renovate it using some thing similar to Panda4994's design. Hopefully it will be faster and easier to get xp and I will be done ASAP. I have also installed a beacon with regeneration and resistance to make grinding easier (you don't have to eat as you punch). If anyone has any suggestions or anything let me know.

Happy mining!

Hey Cman!

Nice idea you got there!

I made the original farm so i'd be glad to help renovate and improve.

I'll check when you're online and join you there.

Cya

There are a lot of locked chests by different players there, if they could be unlocked it would look better. And maybe a toilet there could be useful?

I got from 1 to 30 levels in less than 90 seconds

I went to check on the changes and i have to say it is good improvment, probably faster, i can't tell.

But I do have 2 comments for this new design in comparison to the previous one:
- First, it is kinda annoying having to go to the back to gather all the xp, especially if there are different levels on the floors (half slab/full blobks)
- then endermen can now hit youwhen you are punching them, this is also due to the fact that they can spawn on the Lapis blocks.

I know that the beacon is set to regeneration but i rather fix the problem at the source, while not disturbing the function of the farm.

Anyway, i hope to see Cman some time soon online to discuss about your idea.

Br,
Tryzzo

You just need to leave the area when you're done Bart ;)

Sorry I have had a busy week so hopefully I will finish this weekend. The lapiz blocks will be covered with slabs so they Endermen don't die (I removed them so they didn't pile up while I was building). This design made the "drop chute" two blocks wide so I added the path around back so any enderpearls could be collected (The xp should come to you). I agree that some of these chests need to be unlocked because it is annoying. I might install some sort of garbage chest that will automatically dump extra enderpearls into the void. I'm glad people are noticing an increase in efficiency!

Thanks for all your support/input!

Yeah, it does need an on/off switch, when I was AFK for around 5 minutes, there were a lot of endermen. And in those cases, haste is more useful than regeneration or resistance.
