Ok, here is the idea about linking towns inside the HP-Empire
I am not sure where will be start and where crixville will have a station but here is my idea:
Black: Aboveground rails
Red:tunnel
yellow/orange: approximate placement of stations
Violet:paths that are not sure/decided

Hello, i found out cool use of signs combined with stations.
Idea is that every station would have adress (common item) so person in cart holding specific item in hand would get all the way to place they want. Person holding nothing or invalid item would normally choose the direction on intersections. Then it would be very fast to travel over the world. But i dont have permission to modify stations or add signs.

For example: Player holding a sand in hand would get right to HP-sand from central station. Player holding a dirt (most common block) would get all the way to central station without stops. Then there would be town-specific blocks. for example player holding a torch in hand would get to skytown. Its only a matter of some plan and placing a correct signs. Also we have to make stations pass/through (now you have to leave cart at hp sand and sit in another cart on adjacent station)

Yes really, we should work with that.
But normally when a player wants to HP-SAND, he has no sand in his pocket. :D

(Secret News: added Minecart Mania Sign Commands)

Yeah, it was just example :)

I can make a plan if we will be able to chart all rails on some map (can be just image). If i know structure of our gobal rails then i can assign blocks to them and plan how signs would look. For now we could try it just for HP-empire branch and see how it works...
