i have problems with understanding how to get irc woking via xchat could someone give an indepth toutortial

These are my setting's, I had trouble getting it but in the end it was simple XD I had a simple mistake on it.

cheers but what is the password to connect? or is that not neccisery

I don't think you need to put it in although I connect to the BNC, I'm not sure if you just want to connect to the channel. I will ask Heinz if you can connect to the BNC and If he wants you to have the password.

then how do i connect to the channel?
