Re: Enderman Farm Renovations
If haste affects mob killing speed that would definitely be something that could be useful. I will test that out. I am still working on the design just so everyone knows. It is by no means finished.

Re: Enderman Farm Renovations
I went into the farm yesterday enchanting some books. It looks great now that the room is closed and secured.
Although, the stairs along the falling pad were preventing xp to get to me so I changed them back to half slabs for now, maybe we can figure out some improvments for looks.

Re: Enderman Farm Renovations
The stairs were there to prevent taking damage from the endermen. I will have to come up with a better solution for that. Otherwise all that needs to be done is have more layers added to increase efficiency even more.

Ok!
If you need material, i put down some iron and other stuff in a chest for you Cman.
I guess the worst to get will be strings. I'll try to find a spider / cave spider spawner to make the harvest faster

Re: Enderman Farm Renovations
i found a cave spider spawner and made a farm for strings out of it.
Brought like 4 stacks of strings and other material.
I made 2 new layers on the ender farm, and miserably died making a 3 third one, lost bunch of stuff to the void.
There are still more stuff in a chest at the end of the minecart track.
I'll come back later

Re: Enderman Farm Renovations
Hi everyone,
This is just an update on the enderman farm. As of right now it is fully functional (as you may already know). Of course the efficiency can always be increased by adding more layers so if anyone would like to add to it feel free to copy what is there (thanks Tryzzo for your additions and resources). Also if you have a locked chest in the farm could you please remove it because the area across from the enchanting table was meant to be a community enderpearl drop-off not personal storage. If anyone has any suggestions for improvements feel free to post. Otherwise enjoy your enchanting!
