Minecraft v1.8 Beta

OMG! Finally it's there!
And it's so nice and beautiful.

We already set up a TMP with a fresh new world.

You want to connect? Try the pre release!
(Replace the minecraft.jar the usual way.)

Installation:
Type %AppData%\.minecraft\bin in the search box of your StartMenu.
Make a backup of your original minecraft.jar by rar'ing it or so..
You have to replace the minecraft.jar with the one you have downloaded.
DO NOT DOUBLE CLICK THE JAR FILE!!
Just start it like you did before.

Sadly enough, It laggs much.

It lags probably because you need to readjust the graphics or something, Im playing it as of right now.

Could't connect this morning. Only 2 of the five bars are Green.

Heinz if you can spawn in the first map (map_0) and check out everything i discover then where you see the desert biome all the major lag is at that area.
Idk is someone with a lot of exp died there and that zone hasn't been touch so they can't despawn
Or a stronghold is there and their might be to many mods or they killing each other and their is exp or items everywhere, but every time i go to or near that area i go to 1 - (at least) 5.

I can second that, every time i go there i start to majorly lag. So bad in fact that i can barely move properly and am running at what looks like half a frame per second
