Its me and im back! (with a problem)

Hi guys!

Im finally back!

After taking a long break off minecraft doing some Dj conserts and stuff im finally back to play on Hp- minecraft again!

New and fresh things you can expect from me:
-Music made specially for Hp-Minecraft videos!
-Alot more of me playing on the server
-More videos from me

My problem:

My minecraft client at the moment says cant connect to minecraft.net and ive tried litrally everything such as reinstalling minecraft and java, changing compatibility mode, force updating, deleting .mc, and STILL no dice,
if you guys have a fix it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi oozy, and welcome back.
I had some problems with that too.
Seems that i couldnt resolve the IP of that hostname.
minecraft.net is a IP. Try to 'ping minecraft.net' and see if it works.
If not, change your DNS servers.
I'm using http://www.opendns.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and its working fine (most of the time).
DNS-Server 1: 208.67.222.222
DNS-Server 2: 208.67.220.220

Ive tried pinging it and it just said
