Just been thinking about the server and i feel its getting a bit old and boring.
Not saying i dont like it, im just assessing the point from a regular players point of view and players (including me) love servers more when they have new content added.
So heres what i suggest we do:
-Save the world map and back it up.
-Clean out the server files but keep all the player history or anything else important
-Carefully choose some plugins that will help towards gameplay and replace the old ones.
-Rebuild or update old buildings/towns
I also suggest making a Official but optional modpack for the server which will include mods that will work well with the server.
Such as a mod that works with the server to give certain players capes (such as an admin cape for heinz)
Ive also been looking at other servers, and they seem to have lots of advertising, where they post lots of videos on youtube of there server, they have a facebook and twitter account and also a wiki.
Which leads me onto the next thing which is we need to promote our server more on youtube, twitter and other sources.
This will then get us more members and this then means that the towns will have more inhabitants.
I think we also need to update our website with the main domain (http://www.hpminecraft.de" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) leading to a news page that says whats new, with buttons at the top leading to the server info page, fourm page , and gallery
We could also have a massive red button in the top corner saying vote.
Thats pretty much it, I know there quite intense changes but i think they would make the server alot better.
