As you most likely know since the 1.9 update, an outter end was implemented with lots of new blocks and items (chorus plants, purpur blocks, elytra wings and more).
I went through the process of respawning a dragon and defeating it, opening a new gateway to the outter end.
When throwing an ender pearl through, I was instantly tp'ed back to spawn.
Bummer!
My guess is that the outter end is too far out in the end world (it spawns a couple thousands blocks away from 0;0), thus making it impossible to access on the server.
Is there a way we can fix that/go around the problem?
